Sehr freundlicher und wärmer Empfang, haben uns direkt willkommen gefühlt. Ankleiden mit Hilfe ganz in Ruhe, dann Spaziergang zum Schrein. Wir hatten die Fotos mit iPhone mit verschiedenen Hintergründen und Posen. wir haben am gleichen Tag alle Fotos und Videos der Teezeremonie erhalten. Die Teezeremonie war sehr entspannt und interessant, es wurde viel erklärt und Fragen beantwortet. Englisch war kein Problem. Jeder durfte einmal Matcha Tee selbst anrühren. zum Abschied gab es ein kleines Give-away. Absolut empfehlenswert, sehr herzliche und freundliche Menschen, die darauf bedacht sind, dass man sich wohl fühlt. Ein kleiner Einblick in die japanische Kultur.

Our guide Sayoko was absolutely fabulous. The experience is one we will never forget. Kimonos were stunning and imaculate. The temple was beautiful and we got see a bride and groom. Sayoko gave you the choice to choose everything from kimono, umbrella and obi. Her directions to the venue were very clear and provided photos every step of the way. I would highly recommend the experience. The walk to the temple gave you an insight into old Tokyo as opposed to the main highrised centre. Do it you won’t be disappointed.

haben wirklich sehr schöne Bilder am Ende des Tages zusammenbekommen. Sayoko, welche uns angekleidet hat kann auch ein bischen Englisch und versucht alles gut zu organisieren. Wenn man die Haare und Make-up gemacht bekommen möchte, macht man das in einer anderen Location. Außerdem zahlt man dafür einen Aufpreis. Meine Empfehlung ist es Make-up und Haare am besten schon gemacht zu haben und dann zu ihr zu gehen. Das macht es mit der Zeitplanung einfacher. Die Kimonos sind wirklich sehr schön und ich bin froh etwas von der japanischen Kultur gelernt zu haben.

I got a history lesson on the temple we visited, history of Japan, some incredible photos, practiced some Temple traditions, and got to wear a traditional Kimono. Great selection of kimonos. The kimonos are made out of silk and thus have a good quality. The host Sayoko was super friendly. She knew good locations for the photo session. It's been all right! Sayoko, the guide, is a kind and warm woman who teaches you the correct way to visit and behave in the temple. The neighborhood and the temple that we visited are beautiful, far from the hustle and bustle of other larger and more crowded temples. She is kind and attentive in helping you get dressed, and I never felt like I was wearing a costume, but rather more natural, everyday clothes (which I had never worn before). It was fun practicing my Japanese with her and although she uses an iPhone to take her photos, the angles and settings to take them work perfectly. My photos turned out beautiful and convey many emotions when seeing them, they have a great sense of aesthetics and light. 100% recommended!

This was a well-organized kimono experience and the tour operator offers the option of getting your hair and makeup done, as well as a photographer to capture memories of your experience. This was the selling point for me as a lot of other places only let you rent a kimono and walk around in it for a day. Unfortunately it rained during my whole tour but it was still enjoyable and I had nice photos anyway. Some things to note are that you will have to choose the kimono online ahead of time, so please be aware of that, but there are many to choose from. A lot of similar tour operators have their locations in Asakusa, so it was nice to do this in a different location.

It was amazing! We got lost trying to meet up cause our gps took us in the opposite direction but Sayoko was so sweet and patient even met up with us to help show us the right way. Her english was very good and she taught us a lot. I recommend her to anyone who would like to do a kimono walk but not break the bank. Her Kimonos were not only beautiful but also fitted big busted girlies like my sister and I. Ich wurde sehr freundlich empfangen. Wurde am Treffpunkt abgeholt und wir sind uns direkt umziehen gegangen. Farbe vom Kimono kann man selbst aussuchen. Es wird alles direkt geschickt nach der Buchung! Danach gibt es direkt weiter zum Schrein. Ein kleiner Spaziergang dort hin im Kimono! Dort war dann ein Fotoshooting. Ich habe zusätzlich die Tee Zeremonie gebucht. Der Tee war sehr lecker! Dazu wurden japanische traditionelle Süßigkeiten serviert. Sehr lecker! :) Währenddessen wird alles aufgenommen und ein kleines Shooting von der Zeremonie gemacht. Ich durfte dann sogar auch einen eigenen Tee machen. Mir wurde alles gut erklärt. Die Bilder habe ich direkt noch vor Ort gesendet bekommen! Ich kann dieses Erlebnis weiterempfehlen! Es hat sehr Spaß gemacht. :) ❤️ Vielen Dank an das Team ❤️

This was a wonderful experience for my daughter and myself. Sayoko was extremely helpful and made our kimono experience so special. She communicated with us and walked us through the process. She carefully dressed us and made us feel special as she educated us on how to worship in the shrine. She took lots of amazing pictures which I shared and got so many compliments on. As we walked through the streets the people were so kind and complimented us. I highly recommend this experience especially with a mother daughter experience. As a side note we did do the extra make up through this booking it was a salon, it was more of a Geisha makeup it is a whiter face style so this may be something to consider prior to booking.

This is an absolute MUST-DO activity in Tokyo! The team is extremely precise and professional, they really care for you to have the best experience. There's plenty of Kimono options to chose from, moreover, you have the chance to choose also the other accessories such as the umbrella, the obi and so on. Sayoko was an amazing host, giving careful instructions on how to arrive to the rental shop and explaining on how to behave at a shrine and what to do. She was very enthusiastic about taking many photos and videos for you, so even if you go alone you won’t feel shy or embarrassed. Photos are taken on an iPhone but you can pay more for a more professional shoot - so adjust your expectations accordingly if you decide not to take up the extra expense. The entire duration was not too long and I had a great time with a fellow guest who was also a solo traveler. We went to Nezu Shrine which was a beautiful location, but of course there are other people at the shrine so sometimes you have to wait for a good opportunity for photos. Incredible trip if you want a quick shoot in beautiful yukata.

I spent yesterday learning how to properly wear, walk, and sit in a Japanese Kimono. This included training on the holding of the silk purse and silk umbrella for an upcoming wedding.

I only scratched the surface of this remarkable Japanese clothing culture. The kimono is a symbol of longevity and good fortune. Specific motifs were used to indicate virtues or attributes of the wearer, or relate to the season or occasion such as weddings and festivals where it bestows good fortune on the wearer. I felt very lucky all put together properly in my kimono.

Sayoko was a great tour guide, I had a great time learning about the kimono and walking around the yanaka area. While walking around the yanaka area, Sayoko told us interesting facts about the area and the kimono. She also takes great pictures, and goes out of her way to tell you what is the best way to pose in a kimono.

Great experience especially if you are looking to put on an ‘authentic’ silk kimono. Host has a great collection donated from locals and the quality is high. The photos of the kimonos were also accurate. Note that there is no makeup and hair and photos are snapped casually with an iphone. So do arrange for top-ups if expect something more professional. Sayoko is a very responsive and friendly host. Overall experience is good if you love beautiful kimonos!

Sayoko made me feel so comfortable as she explained the different pieces of the kimono attire. I did not realize that there were so many layers. She took her time as she completely dressed you making sure it was not too tight. I highly respect the Japanese culture and was so happy to be able walk around and take pictures wearing the kimono. Sayoko is so sweet and took a lot of pictures on her phone, showing how to walk and pose with beautiful scenery. I highly recommend this!

The Authentic Kimono Culture Experience Dress, Walk, and Capture was memorable! Although I booked this activity at the last minute, Sayoko made sure to make it a positive and inclusive experience by checking on my preferences and limitations. I booked this as a last minute thing. I'm glad that Sayoko responded quickly. I am also glad at how size-inclusive this is. I know Japanese sizes are typically small so I was worried I won't fit in the kimonos because I am plus size and petite! Sayoko did everything to make it magical. I'm glad I have tons of photos and videos because I came to Japan alone.

We had to change locations but, the new location was a beautiful hotel with a garden and a waterfall with lots of places to take pictures. The host did a great job. She used our phones to take the pictures. There was this cute couple that was celebrating their 50th anniversary and wanted to take photos with us!! We enjoyed the whole process. More than enough time for the price and great price too.

We had a fun morning with Sayoko! She reached out to us the day before asking us to choose our kimono. We met her at a beautiful hotel where she helped us get dressed in the kimonos. Afterwards we walked around the Japanese garden on the grounds of the hotel. Sayoko took pictures for us using our own cameras with the beautiful traditional background. Make sure your phone or camera is charged because in the 2 hours, I used half of my phone's battery to take pictures. But the pictures came out great!

Sayoko san is such a wonderful person. She welcomed us warmly and thought us about her shop and kimonos and umbrellas she makes. She helped dress us up in absolutely beautiful yukatas. Sayako was very hospitable and friendly hosts. She was very concientious in catering to the needs of us guests and were very happy to share whatever information she knew about the Japanese culture. We not only got to try the kimono, but we also got to takw photogenic and cultural shots with the nearby shrine.
